A two-month voyage around the Land Down Under was terminated days after the tragic passing of an elderly female passenger who was abandoned by the vessel on a remote island.

The passenger had been walking on the tropical location with shipmates from the cruise ship, but separated from the excursion for a rest. The liner departed without her and returned several hours later after the crew became aware the woman was missing.
