The Music Icon Portrays a Hell Version of Herself in Satirical Film Preview

The Grammy-winning artist is preparing for a significant cinematic onslaught in 2026, kicking off with the satirical film titled The Moment.

Within the project, she embodies what she calls as a twisted version of herself.

It’s the realest depiction of the entertainment world that I’ve ever seen, the performer remarked.

She elaborated in a discussion: It’s far from a live performance documentary, but the idea stemmed from the pressure to make one.

A Glimpse into The Project

The first teaser, launched on this week, mixes authentic footage from her live performances with imagined off-stage interactions.

The mockumentary is directed and co-written by her collaborator, who revealed that the plot revolves around a scenario where Charli made entirely different choices in the publicity of her hugely successful record Brat.

The mockumentary is just one of numerous future film appearances for Charli, who already appeared in three independent movies recently.

Furthermore took on her own role in the comedy series Overcompensating.

Future Ventures

Next year will also include the star with Olivia Wilde in sensual story I Want Your Sex, Natalie Portman in gallery suspense The Gallerist, and Barbie Ferreira in terror reimagining Faces of Death.

She recently agreed to feature in the star’s directorial debut A Tree in Blue.

Next February will also include the launch of the director’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights, which will showcase fresh tracks from the singer.

Additionally, she will provide music for the story Mother Mary, starring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, planned for launch soon.

The film will be released on the 30th of January.
